Human Angiopoietin-related protein 7 (ANGPTL7) ELISA Kit

A sandwich ELISA from Assay Genie for the quantitative detection of human Angiopoietin-related protein 7 (ANGPTL7), a secreted 40,018 Da protein involved in angiogenesis and the response to oxidative stress. The kit is reactive with human samples and is validated for serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids. Detection is colorimetric, with absorbance measured at 450 nm using a microplate reader. The assay is intended for research use only, with applications noted in the Neurosciences research area.

Performance specifications include a detection range of 78-5000 pg/mL, a sensitivity of 34 pg/mL, an intra-assay CV of 6.1% and an inter-assay CV of 11.2%. Linearity in serum ranges from 80-90% at 1:2 to 102-112% at 1:16, with EDTA plasma from 88-98% to 105-117% and heparin plasma from 92-101% to 102-114% across the same dilution series. Recovery averages 101% in serum (range 95-107%) and 103% in plasma (range 97-109%). The assay is specific to natural and recombinant human ANGPTL7.
