Human Angiopoietin-related protein 6 (ANGPTL6) ELISA Kit

A sandwich ELISA from Assay Genie designed for the quantitative, colorimetric detection of human angiopoietin-related protein 6 (ANGPTL6). The target is also identified by synonyms including angiopoietin-like protein 6, angiopoietin-related growth factor, AGF, and ARP5. The kit is reactive with human samples and validated for serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernates, and other biological fluids.

Performance figures include a detection range of 0.156–10 ng/mL and a sensitivity of 0.078 ng/mL. Precision is reported as an intra-assay CV of 7.8% and an inter-assay CV of 9.1%. Specificity is established for both natural and recombinant human ANGPTL6 (UniProt Q8NI99), a secreted protein with a molecular weight of 51,694 Da. ANGPTL6 has been implicated in wound healing, epidermal proliferation and remodeling, endothelial cell chemotaxis, neovascularization, and in counteracting high-fat diet-induced obesity and related insulin resistance through increased energy expenditure.
