Human Angiopoietin-related protein 3 (ANGPTL3) ELISA Kit

This sandwich ELISA from Assay Genie is designed for the quantitative measurement of Human Angiopoietin-related protein 3 (ANGPTL3). The assay is reactive with human samples and uses a colorimetric detection method for the measurement of ANGPTL3 in serum, plasma, cell culture supernates, tissue homogenates and other biological fluids.

Performance specifications include a detection range of 0.235–15 ng/mL, a sensitivity of 0.1 ng/mL, an intra-assay CV of 5.9% and an inter-assay CV of 9.8%. Linearity was demonstrated across serial dilutions from 1:2 to 1:16, with serum ranging 93–107%, EDTA plasma 83–115% and heparin plasma 97–114%. Spiked recovery was 100–112% in serum (average 106%) and 102–114% in plasma (average 108%). The kit specifically recognises natural and recombinant human ANGPTL3.

ANGPTL3 plays a central role in lipid metabolism and cardiovascular health, with dysregulation linked to hyperlipidemia, atherosclerosis and other metabolic disorders.
