Human Angiopoietin-2 (ANGPT2) ELISA Kit

This Sandwich ELISA Kit from Assay Genie is designed for the quantitative measurement of human Angiopoietin-2 (ANGPT2) in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids. ANGPT2 is a key player in angiogenesis, modulating ANGPT1 signalling at the TEK/TIE2 receptor, and its dysregulation has been linked to cancer, cardiovascular diseases and neurodegenerative disorders.

The assay uses a colorimetric sandwich format and is specific for natural and recombinant human Angiopoietin-2. The detection range is 0.156–10 ng/mL with a sensitivity of 0.039 ng/mL. Reported intra-assay CV is 4.7% and inter-assay CV is 7.9%. Spike-and-recovery testing returned an average of 99% in serum (range 93–105%) and 101% in plasma (range 95–107%). Linearity across serial dilutions was 87–117% in serum, 86–118% in EDTA plasma, and 90–117% in heparin plasma.
