Human Angiopoietin-1 (ANGPT1) ELISA Kit

Assay Genie provides a sandwich-format, colorimetric ELISA for the quantitative measurement of Human Angiopoietin-1 (ANGPT1) in human biological samples, supporting research into angiogenesis, vascular biology, and cardiovascular disease. The assay is intended for research use only.

Angiopoietin-1 is a secreted glycoprotein that binds and activates the TEK/TIE2 receptor, with documented roles in vascular development, endothelial cell survival, blood vessel maturation, and the maintenance of vascular quiescence. Acceptable sample types include serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernates, and other biological fluids, and the assay detects both natural and recombinant human Angiopoietin-1.

The reported detection range is 7.8-500 pg/mL with a sensitivity of 3.11 pg/mL. Intra-assay CV is 6.5% and inter-assay CV is 7.8%. Spiked-sample recovery averaged 84% (range 80-90%) for serum and 86% (range 80-92%) for plasma. Across 1:2 to 1:16 dilutions, serum linearity fell within 98-112% of expected values.
