Human Angiomotin-like protein 2 (AMOTL2) ELISA Kit

The Assay Genie sandwich ELISA kit uses a colorimetric detection method and is designed for the measurement of human Angiomotin-like protein 2 (AMOTL2, also known as Leman coiled-coil protein, LCCP, and KIAA0989) in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernatants, and other biological fluids. The assay is reactive for human samples, detects natural and recombinant human AMOTL2, and is for research use only.

Manufacturer specifications list a detection range of 0.156–10 ng/mL and a sensitivity of 0.082 ng/mL. Reported precision values are an intra-assay CV of 7.4% and an inter-assay CV of 8.7%. Linearity across 1:2, 1:4, 1:8, and 1:16 dilutions ranged from 86% to 118% in serum, 83% to 118% in EDTA plasma, and 83% to 119% in heparin plasma. Recovery averaged 100% (range 94–106%) in serum and 102% (range 96–108%) in plasma.

AMOTL2 belongs to the angiomotin family and regulates the translocation of phosphorylated SRC to peripheral cell-matrix adhesion sites, contributes to actin filament architecture, inhibits the Wnt/beta-catenin signaling pathway, and participates in angiogenesis. The protein is localized to recycling endosomes, with UniProt accession Q9Y2J4 and a reported molecular weight of 91,817 Da. Storage is at -20°C and shipping at +4°C.
