Human Angiomotin-like protein 1/AMOTL1 ELISA Kit

Assay Genie provides sandwich ELISA kits for the quantitative detection of Angiomotin-like protein 1 (AMOTL1), with variants for human and mouse reactivity. Both kit formats are validated for use with serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernates, and other biological fluids, and show specificity for natural and recombinant AMOTL1.

The kits cover a detection range of 0.156-10ng/mL. The mouse kit reports a sensitivity of 0.091ng/mL, while the human kit reports a sensitivity of 0.078ng/mL, an Intra CV of 4.2%, and an Inter CV of 7.8%. For the human kit, serum recovery averages 99% (range 93-105%) and plasma recovery averages 101% (range 95-107%). Linear dilution performance has been documented across 1:2 to 1:16 dilutions for serum, EDTA plasma, and heparin plasma.

AMOTL1 is a peripheral membrane protein associated with tight junctions, where it contributes to the control of paracellular permeability and the maintenance of cell polarity. It plays a role in regulating cell proliferation, migration, and angiogenesis, and acts to inhibit the Wnt/beta-catenin signaling pathway. The kits are intended for research use only.
