Human Angiomotin/AMOT ELISA Kit

From Assay Genie, this sandwich double-antibody ELISA kit enables quantitative measurement of human Angiomotin (AMOT) using a colorimetric detection method. The microplate is pre-coated with a capture antibody specific to the target protein; standards and samples are added, followed by a biotinylated detection antibody, HRP-conjugated Streptavidin and TMB substrate. Absorbance is read at 450 nm.

Compatible sample types include serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples. Reported performance includes a sensitivity of 0.469 ng/mL and a measuring range of 0.781–50 ng/mL. Linearity (n=5) at 1:2, 1:4 and 1:8 dilutions spans 82–101%, 83–97% and 84–99% in serum; 82–97%, 84–100% and 80–91% in EDTA plasma; and 86–100%, 85–96% and 85–105% in heparin plasma. Recovery averages 97% in serum, 94% in EDTA plasma and 92% in heparin plasma.

Storage is at 2–8°C for 12 months. The protocol involves reagent equilibration, primary incubation at 37°C, sequential binding of detection antibody and HRP-Streptavidin, TMB color development in the dark, and a stop step before reading absorbance at 450 nm.
