Human Angiogenin/ANG ELISA Kit

A sandwich ELISA kit from Assay Genie is designed for the quantitative measurement of human Angiogenin (ANG) in serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples. The colorimetric assay uses a double-antibody sandwich format with a sensitivity of 46.875 pg/mL and a standard range of 78.125–5000 pg/mL. It is intended for use with human samples and supports cardiovascular research, including investigations into angiogenesis, cell proliferation, and the role of angiogenin in cancer and neurodegenerative disorders. Reagents should be stored at 2–8°C for 12 months.

The procedure involves equilibrating reagents and loading standards, samples, and controls onto the pre-coated plate, followed by sequential incubation with a biotin-labeled detection antibody and HRP-Streptavidin conjugate. After TMB substrate development in the dark, the reaction is stopped and absorbance is read at 450 nm. Sample preparation includes centrifugation of clotted blood for serum and anticoagulant-treated blood for plasma, with comparable protocols available for tissue homogenates, cell culture supernatants, and cell lysates.
