The Phospho-mTOR (S2448) and Total mTOR dual ELISA from Assay Genie enables simultaneous quantification of phosphorylated mTOR at Serine 2448 and total mTOR protein within a single lysate, supporting studies of the PI3K/AKT/mTOR signaling axis. mTORC1 activation, marked by S2448 phosphorylation, is widely used to assess insulin, growth factor, and nutrient signaling, as well as autophagy, metabolic regulation, and tumor biology research. The kit accepts cell lysates and tissue lysates prepared with standard RIPA or equivalent lysis buffers, with a 100 µL sample volume per well. The absorbance-based readout is captured on a standard microplate reader, and the strip plate configuration allows flexible processing.
