The Phospho-LSD1 (S112) and Total LSD1 ELISA from Assay Genie enables parallel quantification of site-specific phosphorylation at serine 112 of KDM1A alongside total LSD1 protein within the same microplate run. S112 phosphorylation by casein kinase 2 has been linked to DNA damage response signaling and chromatin remodeling, making dual phospho and total measurement valuable for epigenetics and oncology research. The assay is reactive with both human and mouse KDM1A orthologs, supporting translational studies across model systems, and accepts cell lysates or tissue lysates as input material. Capture antibodies specific for the phosphorylated epitope permit normalization of phosphorylation status against total LSD1 expression, reducing the need for parallel western blot validation. Unused microplate strips should be stored at -20 degrees C with desiccant to preserve antibody activity across multiple freeze-thaw cycles.
