Human and Mouse Phospho-ATF2 (Thr69/71) and Total ATF2 PharmaGenie ELISA Kit (SBRS1752)

ATF2 (Activating Transcription Factor 2) is phosphorylated at Thr69 and Thr71 by stress-activated kinases including JNK and p38 MAPK, providing a widely used readout for genotoxic stress, UV response, and inflammatory signaling cascades. This Assay Genie dual ELISA measures both phosphorylated ATF2 (Thr69/71) and total ATF2 from the same lysate preparation, enabling researchers to calculate a phospho/total activation ratio that controls for variation in protein loading or expression level.

The microplate-based format uses matched phospho-specific and pan-ATF2 antibody pairs in adjacent wells, and requires only 100 µL of sample per well in the form of clarified cell or tissue lysate. By profiling both species in one experimental run, the kit streamlines compound screening, siRNA knockdown validation, and time-course studies of MAPK pathway activation without the need for parallel western blotting.
