Human AN1-type zinc finger protein 6 (ZFAND6) ELISA Kit

A sandwich ELISA kit from Assay Genie intended for the quantitative measurement of human AN1-type zinc finger protein 6 (ZFAND6). The assay is validated for use with serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernatants and other biological fluids, with reactivity specific to human samples.

Detection is colorimetric, with a reported detection range of 1.56–100 U/L and a sensitivity of 0.78 U/L. Intra-assay CV is 4.5% and inter-assay CV is 8.0%. Recovery in serum averages 88% (range 82–94%) and in plasma averages 90% (range 84–96%). The kit shows specificity for natural and recombinant human AN1-type zinc finger protein 6 and is supplied for research use only.

ZFAND6 is a cytoplasmic protein involved in the regulation of TNF-alpha induced NF-kappa-B activation and apoptosis, modulation of 'Lys-48'-linked polyubiquitination status of TRAF2, and PTS1 target sequence-dependent protein import into peroxisomes. Dysregulation of ZFAND6 has been implicated in cancer, diabetes and neurological disorders, making it a useful target for related research applications.
