Human Amyloid Beta Peptide 1-42 (Ab1-42) ELISA Kit

The Assay Genie Human Amyloid Beta Peptide 1-42 (Ab1-42) ELISA Kit is a competitive immunoassay developed for the quantitative measurement of the Aβ1-42 peptide in human samples. Amyloid beta 1-42 is generated by sequential cleavage of amyloid precursor protein (APP) by β- and γ-secretases and is a key biomarker in Alzheimer's disease and neurodegeneration research.

The competitive ELISA principle is well suited to small peptide targets, with ready-to-use reagents that integrate into standard laboratory workflows.

Reactivity is specific to human Ab1-42, with no significant cross-reactivity observed against related amyloid species such as Ab1-40. Each kit contains a pre-coated microplate, peptide standards, detection antibody, and substrate solution sufficient for 96 determinations. Store all reagents at 2-8°C and protect from light.
