Human Amylase Alpha 2, Pancreatic (AMY2) ELISA Kit

Pancreatic alpha-amylase (AMY2) is a calcium-dependent metalloenzyme (~56 kDa) secreted by acinar cells of the exocrine pancreas, and the Assay Genie AMY2 ELISA Kit provides quantitative measurement of this isoform in human research samples. The kit uses matched antibody pairs that selectively bind the human pancreatic isoform and discriminate it from the closely related salivary isozyme AMY1, enabling isoform-specific quantification. A chromogenic signal is produced and read on a standard microplate spectrophotometer.
