Human Amphiregulin (AREG) ELISA Kit

Manufactured by Assay Genie, this Sandwich ELISA Kit is designed for the quantitative measurement of human Amphiregulin (AREG) in research samples. The assay uses a colorimetric detection method and is reactive with human Amphiregulin.

The kit is validated for serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernatants and other biological fluids, with specificity for natural and recombinant human Amphiregulin. Reported performance includes a detection range of 31.2-2000pg/mL, a sensitivity of 10pg/mL, an intra-assay CV of 5.8%, and an inter-assay CV of 8.6%. Recovery in serum averages 88% (range 82-94%) and in plasma averages 90% (range 84-96%). Amphiregulin is a ligand of the EGF receptor/EGFR and acts as an autocrine growth factor and mitogen for astrocytes, Schwann cells and fibroblasts. It plays a role in tissue repair, wound healing and inflammation, and its dysregulation is linked to a variety of diseases including cancer and inflammatory disorders.
