Human Aminoacylase-1 (ACY1) ELISA Kit

From Assay Genie, this Sandwich ELISA kit enables the precise and sensitive colorimetric quantification of human Aminoacylase-1 (ACY1) in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids. ACY1 is a cytosolic, homodimeric zinc-binding enzyme that catalyses the hydrolysis of N-acylated or N-acetylated amino acids (except L-aspartate), and its dysregulation has been linked to metabolic disorders, kidney diseases and neurological disorders, making it a valuable biomarker for research into disease pathogenesis.

The kit is reactive with human samples and recognises both natural and recombinant human Aminoacylase-1. The assay has a detection range of 1.56-100 ng/mL and a sensitivity of 0.791 ng/mL. Reproducibility is supported by an intra-assay CV of 5.9% and an inter-assay CV of 7.2%. Linearity has been validated across serial dilutions in serum (range 106-120%), EDTA plasma (93-117%) and heparin plasma (89-119%), with mean recovery of 85% in serum (80-91%) and 87% in plasma (81-93%).
