Human AMA IgA/Anti-Myelin antibody IgA ELISA Kit

Anti-myelin antibodies of the IgA class are implicated in autoimmune disorders such as multiple sclerosis, where the immune system mistakenly targets the protective myelin sheath surrounding nerve fibers. The Assay Genie Sandwich ELISA kit enables the in vitro quantitative determination of Human AMA IgA concentrations in serum, plasma, and other biological fluids, providing a tool for researchers and clinicians studying autoimmune and neurodegenerative conditions.

Validation data quote a sensitivity of 0.188 ng/ml across a working range of 0.313–20 ng/ml. Spike-and-recovery testing returned averages of 97% in serum (range 90–103%), 95% in EDTA plasma (range 88–100%), and 92% in UFH plasma (range 87–96%). Linearity across 1:2, 1:4, and 1:8 dilutions fell between 81% and 101% for the matrices tested. Precision is reported as intra-assay CV < 8% and inter-assay CV < 10%.

The kit is supplied with a dismountable ELISA microplate, lyophilized standard, sample/standard dilution buffer, biotin-labeled antigen and its dilution buffer, HRP-streptavidin conjugate (SABC) and its dilution buffer, TMB substrate, stop solution, concentrated wash buffer, and plate sealer.
