Human ALT1/Alanine aminotransferase 1 ELISA Kit

Designed for the quantitative measurement of human alanine aminotransferase 1 (ALT1), this colorimetric double-antibody sandwich ELISA from Assay Genie is suitable for serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples. ALT1 is an enzyme involved in amino acid metabolism and liver function, and elevated blood levels can indicate liver damage or disease, making it a valuable biomarker for assessing liver health.

The assay has a stated sensitivity of 1.875 mIU/mL and a working range of 3.125–200 mIU/mL. Reported linearity (n=5) is 86–101% (1:2), 85–104% (1:4) and 92–102% (1:8) in serum; 84–99%, 88–93% and 90–100% in EDTA plasma; and 83–96%, 80–97% and 84–99% in heparin plasma. Mean spike-and-recovery values are 92% in serum, 95% in EDTA plasma and 96% in heparin plasma.

Recommended applications include studies of liver diseases, drug-induced liver injury and metabolic disorders. Unopened kits should be stored at 2–8°C for 12 months.
