Human Alpha-taxilin (TXLNA) ELISA Kit

Assay Genie provides a Sandwich ELISA Kit for the quantitative detection of human Alpha-taxilin (TXLNA) in human samples. The assay is validated for serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids, with specificity for both natural and recombinant human Alpha-taxilin.

Key performance figures include a detection range of 0.156–10 ng/mL, a sensitivity of 0.065 ng/mL, an intra-assay CV of 4.8% and an inter-assay CV of 9.8%. Linearity has been demonstrated in serum (N=5), EDTA plasma (N=5) and heparin plasma (N=5) across 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16 dilutions. Mean recovery is 88% (range 82–94%) for serum and 90% (range 84–96%) for plasma. The kit targets UniProt entry P40222, a protein implicated in intracellular vesicle traffic and potentially in calcium-dependent exocytosis in neuroendocrine cells. For research use only.
