Human alpha smooth muscle Actin/ACTA2 ELISA Kit

A high-quality sandwich ELISA from Assay Genie for the quantitative measurement of human alpha smooth muscle actin (ACTA2) in research samples. The double-antibody format delivers a detection range of 0.313–20 ng/mL with a sensitivity of 0.188 ng/mL, supporting work in smooth muscle biology, fibrosis, and cardiovascular research.

The kit accepts a broad range of sample types, including serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples. Documented linearity and recovery performance is reported for serum, EDTA plasma, and heparin plasma. All reagents should be stored at 2–8 °C, where they remain stable for up to 12 months.

The assay follows a six-step protocol: reagent and plate preparation; primary incubation of standards, samples and blanks at 37 °C for 90 minutes; biotin-labelled detection antibody binding at 37 °C for 60 minutes; HRP-streptavidin binding for 30 minutes; TMB colour development in the dark for 10–20 minutes; and a stop reaction with absorbance reading at 450 nm.
