Human Alpha-N-acetylglucosaminidase (NAGLU) ELISA Kit

A sandwich ELISA kit from Assay Genie is designed for the quantitative detection of human Alpha-N-acetylglucosaminidase (NAGLU), an enzyme involved in the degradation of heparan sulfate and implicated in lysosomal storage disorders such as mucopolysaccharidosis type 3B (Sanfilippo syndrome B). The assay uses a colorimetric detection method and is reactive with human samples, including serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernatants and other biological fluids.

Performance characteristics include a detection range of 0.312-20ng/mL, a sensitivity of 0.12ng/mL, an intra-assay CV of 4.5%, and an inter-assay CV of 8.0%. The kit shows specificity for natural and recombinant human Alpha-N-acetylglucosaminidase. Linearity in serum ranges from 85% to 107% across dilutions of 1:2 to 1:16, while EDTA plasma linearity ranges from 82% to 106% and heparin plasma from 87% to 117%. Recovery is reported at an average of 91% (range 85-97%) for serum and 93% (range 87-99%) for plasma. The target protein localizes to the lysosome and exists as a monomer or homodimer.
