Human Alpha-Fodrin (SPTAN1) ELISA Kit

This Assay Genie kit quantifies human Alpha-Fodrin, the cytoskeletal scaffolding protein encoded by the SPTAN1 gene. Alpha-fodrin is well established in immunology research as a target autoantigen, with anti-alpha-fodrin IgG and IgA antibodies investigated as serological biomarkers in Sjogren's syndrome alongside classical anti-Ro/SSA and anti-La/SSB responses.

Neuroscience and cell biology applications include studies of SPTAN1 mutations linked to West syndrome, early-onset epileptic encephalopathy, and hereditary spectrinopathies.
