Human alpha Actinin 4 protein/ACTN4 ELISA Kit

Designed for the precise measurement of alpha-actinin-4 (ACTN4) levels in human biological samples, this Sandwich ELISA Kit from Assay Genie uses a double-antibody format. The kit is reactive with human samples and accepts a broad range of input materials, including serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples, with detection carried out using a colourimetric TMB-based read-out at 450 nm.

Alpha-actinin-4 is a key protein involved in cell structure and movement, playing a vital role in processes such as cell adhesion and migration, and dysregulation of alpha-actinin-4 has been linked to kidney diseases and cancer, making it a valuable biomarker in cell biology research. The assay reports a sensitivity of 46.875 pg/mL and a working range of 78.125–5000 pg/mL. The kit is supplied with components for a standard sandwich ELISA workflow, including a pre-coated microplate, lyophilized standard, biotin-labeled detection antibody, HRP-Streptavidin conjugate, TMB substrate, sample and antibody dilution buffers, SABC dilution buffer, wash buffer and stop solution, with storage at 2–8°C for 12 months.

Linearity in serum, EDTA plasma and heparin plasma was demonstrated across 1:2 to 1:8 dilutions (for example serum 80–101%, EDTA plasma 82–105%, heparin plasma 82–105%), with recovery ranges of 86–102% in serum (average 96%), 86–101% in EDTA plasma (average 93%) and 86–100% in heparin plasma (average 93%).
