Human alpha 2-Antiplasmin/SERPINF2 ELISA Kit

A Sandwich ELISA from Assay Genie for the quantitative measurement of human alpha-2 antiplasmin (SERPINF2). The kit uses a double-antibody sandwich configuration and is validated for use with human serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples.

Performance specifications include a sensitivity of 1.875 ng/mL and an assay range of 3.125–200 ng/mL. Reported linearity (n=5) across dilutions of 1:2, 1:4, and 1:8 is 84–101% for serum, 83–102% for EDTA plasma, and 81–100% for heparin plasma. Recovery data show averages of 97% for serum, 98% for EDTA plasma, and 97% for heparin plasma. Reagents are stored at 2–8°C with a 12-month shelf life.

Alpha-2 antiplasmin is a serine protease inhibitor that plays a central role in regulating fibrinolysis and preventing excessive blood clot formation. Dysregulation of alpha-2 antiplasmin has been linked to various thrombotic disorders, making it a key biomarker for research into these conditions and potential therapeutic interventions.
