Human Alpha-1B-glycoprotein (A1BG) ELISA Kit

This colorimetric Sandwich ELISA from Assay Genie is intended for the quantitative detection of human Alpha-1B-glycoprotein (A1BG) in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids. The assay has a reported sensitivity of 0.32 ng/mL and a detection range of 0.78-50 ng/mL, with intra-assay precision of 4.7% CV and inter-assay precision of 9.3% CV. The antibody pair recognises natural and recombinant human A1BG, a secreted plasma glycoprotein referenced under UniProt P04217 and implicated in immune response regulation and in diseases such as cancer, liver disorders and kidney diseases.

Linearity was evaluated at dilutions of 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16 in serum, EDTA plasma and heparin plasma. Recovery in serum averaged 95% (range 89-101%) and in plasma averaged 97% (range 91-103%). The kit is supplied for research use only and is suited to cell biology applications.
