Human Alpha-1-acid glycoprotein 2/ORM2 ELISA Kit

From Assay Genie, this Sandwich ELISA kit uses a double-antibody format for the quantitative measurement of human Alpha-1-acid glycoprotein 2 (ORM2), also known as orosomucoid 2 — an acute-phase protein linked to inflammation and immune response regulation. The assay is compatible with serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples, offering a sensitivity of 37.5 pg/mL and a working range of 62.5–4000 pg/mL.

The protocol involves equilibrating reagents to room temperature, a 90-minute primary incubation at 37°C, biotin-labeled detection antibody binding, HRP-streptavidin incubation, TMB substrate color development, and absorbance measurement at 450 nm. Validation data show recovery ranges of 85–101% for serum (average 94%), 87–98% for EDTA plasma (average 95%), and 91–104% for heparin plasma (average 96%), with linearity demonstrated across serial dilutions (1:2, 1:4, 1:8) for each matrix.

Reagents are stored at 2–8°C with a shelf life of 12 months.
