Human ALOXE3/Arachidonate lipoxygenase 3 isoform CRA_a ELISA Kit

Designed for the quantification of ALOXE3, also known as arachidonate lipoxygenase 3 isoform CRA_a, this Sandwich ELISA from Assay Genie provides a high-sensitivity tool for measuring the enzyme in human samples. ALOXE3 is a key enzyme involved in the oxidation of fatty acids, particularly arachidonic acid, and is relevant to research in inflammation, skin barrier function, and lipid metabolism, with applications in studies of dermatitis, cancer, and metabolic disorders.

The assay detects ALOXE3 with a sensitivity of 0.188 ng/mL across a range of 0.313–20 ng/mL. Validated sample types include serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples. The kit is stored at 2–8°C for up to 12 months. Recovery spans 86–102% in serum (average 96%), 88–99% in EDTA plasma (average 95%), and 89–101% in heparin plasma (average 95%). Linearity for 1:2, 1:4, and 1:8 dilutions remains between 82% and 105% across these matrices.

The protocol involves equilibrating reagents to room temperature, a 90-minute primary incubation at 37°C, biotinylated detection antibody binding for 60 minutes, HRP-Streptavidin (SABC) binding for 30 minutes, TMB colour development in the dark for 10–20 minutes, and absorbance measurement at 450 nm after the addition of stop solution.
