Human Alkaline phosphatase, placental type (ALPP) ELISA Kit

A sandwich ELISA from Assay Genie is intended for the quantitative measurement of human Alkaline phosphatase, placental type (ALPP) in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernatants and other biological fluids. ALPP — also known as the Regan isozyme, PLAP-1 or PLAP — is a GPI-anchored cell-surface enzyme that functions as a homodimer and is relevant to research in the area of immunology and alkaline phosphatase biology.

Performance specifications include a detection range of 15.6-1000pg/mL and a sensitivity of 10pg/mL, with reported specificity for natural and recombinant human ALPP. Precision is reported as an Intra CV of 4.7% and an Inter CV of 6.9%. Linearity has been assessed across dilutions from 1:2 to 1:16 in serum (97-106%, 91-100%, 93-103% and 83-95% respectively for n=5), EDTA plasma (112-121%, 96-105%, 110-119% and 101-111% for n=5) and heparin plasma (88-97%, 99-111%, 103-112% and 114-124% for n=5). Average recovery is 101% in serum (range 95-107%) and 103% in plasma (range 97-109%). The kit is supplied for research use only.
