Human AKT3 (Protein kinase Akt-3) ELISA Kit (HUFI08002)

This sandwich ELISA kit from Assay Genie is designed for the quantitative detection of human AKT3 (Protein kinase Akt-3) using a double-antibody format with colorimetric readout. It is intended for research use with human samples, including serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysates, and other liquid samples, and the kit should be stored at 2–8°C for up to 12 months.

Reported performance characteristics include a sensitivity of 0.188 ng/mL and a measurable range of 0.313–20 ng/mL. Linearity across 1:2, 1:4 and 1:8 dilutions is reported as 88–104% / 85–101% / 80–100% for serum (n=5), 90–102% / 85–100% / 83–100% for EDTA plasma (n=5), and 89–103% / 87–93% / 82–98% for heparin plasma (n=5). Recovery ranges are 94–104% (average 99%) for serum, 95–102% (average 99%) for EDTA plasma, and 86–103% (average 93%) for heparin plasma (n=5 in each case).

The workflow involves equilibrating reagents and TMB substrate to room temperature, loading standards and samples onto the pre-coated plate with a 90-minute incubation at 37°C, followed by 60-minute biotin-labelled detection antibody incubation, 30-minute HRP-Streptavidin (SABC) incubation, 10–20 minute TMB colour development in the dark, and absorbance reading at 450 nm immediately after adding stop solution.
