Human AIM2 ELISA Kit

Assay Genie's Human AIM2 ELISA Kit is a sandwich ELISA using a double antibody format for the quantitative measurement of AIM2 (Absent in Melanoma 2, also known as Interferon-inducible protein AIM2) in human samples including serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples. Kit components should be stored at 2-8°C for 12 months.

AIM2 functions as a cytoplasmic DNA sensor that plays a central role in innate immunity and the activation of inflammatory pathways. Dysregulation of AIM2 has been implicated in inflammatory diseases, autoimmune disorders, and cancer, positioning it as a relevant biomarker in cell death research. The kit is intended for research use in studying these conditions and potential therapeutic interventions.

Validation data include linearity across dilutions: for serum (n=5) 85-103% (1:2), 89-104% (1:4), and 88-98% (1:8); for EDTA plasma (n=5) 85-97%, 83-100%, and 83-97%; and for heparin plasma (n=5) 86-100%, 85-99%, and 80-99%. Spike-and-recovery performance shows serum (n=5) at 89-103% with an average of 95%, EDTA plasma (n=5) at 91-102% (average 96%), and heparin plasma (n=5) at 85-98% (average 92%).
