The AGR3 ELISA Kit from Assay Genie enables quantitative measurement of Anterior Gradient 3 protein in human research samples. Anterior Gradient 3 (AGR3), also known as hAG-3, is a member of the protein disulfide isomerase family that has emerged as a biomarker of interest in oncology research. Elevated AGR3 expression has been documented in estrogen receptor-positive breast tumors and other malignancies, including ovarian and lung cancers, where it has been associated with tumor progression and clinical prognosis.

This kit is configured as a 96 Assays microplate format in a single-use plate layout, supporting medium-throughput studies such as biomarker screening, pathway analysis, and validation of AGR3 as a candidate marker in translational research workflows. The kit is intended for research use only and supports investigations into the molecular mechanisms by which AGR3 modulates estrogen receptor signaling and cell proliferation.

Researchers commonly apply this assay to evaluate AGR3 levels across patient cohorts, tumor xenograft models, and cell-based experimental systems. The assay can be incorporated into immunohistochemistry validation pipelines, western blot confirmatory studies, and quantitative comparisons between disease and control groups. Samples may be prepared from liquid biopsy specimens or conditioned media collected during in vitro cell culture work.

By combining specificity for human AGR3 with the convenience of a standardized microplate workflow, this product supports reproducible detection of a cancer-relevant biomarker in laboratory settings focused on breast, lung, and gynecologic cancer biology.
