Alpha-fetoprotein (AFP) is an oncofetal glycoprotein routinely monitored in translational and clinical research as a biomarker for hepatocellular carcinoma surveillance, germ cell tumor evaluation, and fetal developmental conditions. This quantitative immunoassay from Assay Genie measures AFP levels in human specimens and is calibrated specifically for the human protein.
