Built around the Advanced Glycosylation End Product Specific Receptor (AGER), also referenced in the literature as RAGE, this quantitative immunoassay from Assay Genie supports measurement of AGER protein in human biological specimens. The receptor is a single-pass transmembrane immunoglobulin-family pattern recognition molecule whose signaling drives chronic inflammatory cascades implicated in diabetic vasculopathy, neurodegeneration, atherosclerosis, and certain tumor microenvironments, making AGER levels a useful biomarker axis in those research programs.

Validated for reactivity against human samples, the kit is supplied as 96 assays and is intended for research use only. Compatible specimen types include serum or plasma samples, tissue homogenates, cell lysates, and cell culture supernatants, and the assay follows a standard ELISA workflow: a capture-antibody coated plate, sequential incubation with samples and biotinylated detection antibody, streptavidin-HRP development, and absorbance read-out after stop solution, allowing inter-well comparison of unknown samples against a supplied standard curve.

Researchers studying diabetic complications, Alzheimer's disease models, chronic inflammation, sepsis, cardiovascular remodeling, or tumor biology may find this kit useful for quantifying soluble or tissue-associated receptor in vitro and in clinical specimen research. The 96-assay format provides sufficient wells for standard curves and replicate unknowns and is compatible with standard microplate readers used in ELISA laboratories.
