This quantitative immunoassay from Assay Genie provides researchers with a tool for measuring ADP-ribosyltransferase 1 (ART1) levels in human biological specimens. ART1 is a glycosylphosphatidylinositol (GPI)-anchored ectoenzyme that catalyzes the transfer of ADP-ribose from NAD+ onto arginine residues of substrate proteins, a post-translational modification linked to T-cell signaling, neutrophil activation, and inflammatory cascades. The kit supports research into autoimmune mechanisms, NAD+ metabolism, and cell-surface signaling pathways.

Configured for microplate-based readout using a horseradish peroxidase-TMB chromogenic system, the assay accommodates tissue homogenate samples. Each kit contains a precoated microplate, lyophilized standards, detection antibody, assay diluent, wash buffer, and substrate solution, supplied in single-use vials for research use only in vitro applications.

ART1 (also annotated as ARTC1) has been investigated in the context of regulatory T-cell function, endothelial responses, and ecto-ADP-ribosylation in mucosal immunity. Studies in cancer cell-surface enzymology, inflammatory biomarkers, and NAD-consuming enzymes benefit from quantitative measurement of ART1 protein abundance across experimental conditions, with the microplate format supporting batched sample processing.
