Human ADP/ATP translocase 3/SLC25A6 ELISA Kit

This Sandwich ELISA kit from Assay Genie is designed for the quantitative detection of human ADP/ATP translocase 3 (SLC25A6), a mitochondrial protein involved in the exchange of cytoplasmic ADP with mitochondrial ATP across the inner mitochondrial membrane. The assay uses a colorimetric detection method in a double-antibody sandwich format and supports research applications in cell death and cellular energy metabolism.

The kit accepts a broad range of human sample types, including serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples. Linearity has been demonstrated at 1:2, 1:4 and 1:8 dilutions for serum (n = 5), EDTA plasma (n = 5) and heparin plasma (n = 5), with recovery ranges of 91-100% (serum, average 93%), 87-100% (EDTA plasma, average 91%) and 90-101% (heparin plasma, average 96%). Reagents are stored at 2-8°C for 12 months.

The workflow begins with equilibration of reagents and TMB substrate to room temperature, followed by a primary incubation at 37°C for 90 minutes. A biotin-labelled detection antibody is then added for a 60-minute incubation at 37°C, followed by HRP-Streptavidin (SABC) binding for 30 minutes. TMB substrate is added and incubated in the dark for 10-20 minutes, after which stop solution is introduced and absorbance is read immediately at 450 nm.
