Human ADP/ATP translocase 2 (SLC25A5) ELISA Kit

The colorimetric assay has a detection range of 78-5000pg/mL and a sensitivity of 45pg/mL, with specificity for natural and recombinant human ADP/ATP translocase 2.

Reported precision includes an intra-assay CV of 4.9% and inter-assay CV of 7.8%. Recovery is 88% (range 82-94%) for serum and 90% (range 84-96%) for plasma. Linearity is provided for serum, EDTA plasma, and heparin plasma across dilutions from 1:2 to 1:16. The target protein, SLC25A5, is a key mitochondrial carrier that catalyzes the exchange of cytoplasmic ADP with mitochondrial ATP across the mitochondrial inner membrane, and may also play a role in chromosome segregation as part of the mitotic spindle-associated MMXD complex.

The protein localizes to the mitochondrial inner membrane as a multi-pass membrane protein homodimer (UniProt P05141).
