Human ADP/ATP translocase 1 (SLC25A4) ELISA Kit

A sandwich ELISA from Assay Genie for the quantitative detection of human ADP/ATP translocase 1 (SLC25A4), a mitochondrial inner membrane protein that catalyzes the exchange of cytoplasmic ADP with mitochondrial ATP. The kit is intended for research applications relating to cellular metabolism, energy balance, and mitochondrial function.

The assay is reactive with human samples, including serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernates, and other biological fluids, and is performed on a solid phase with colorimetric detection. Quoted performance figures are a detection range of 0.156-10 ng/mL, sensitivity of 0.087 ng/mL, Intra CV of 7.2%, and Inter CV of 11.6%. Linearity was evaluated at dilutions of 1:2, 1:4, 1:8, and 1:16 in serum, EDTA plasma, and heparin plasma (n=5). Mean recovery was 103% in serum (range 97-109%) and 105% in plasma (range 99-111%). The antibody pair recognises natural and recombinant human SLC25A4.
