Human ADP/Acrp30 (Adiponectin) CLIA Kit (HUES00004)

A chemiluminescence-based immunoassay from Assay Genie is designed for the quantitative determination of human ADP/Acrp30 (Adiponectin) in serum, plasma and other biological fluids. The Sandwich-CLIA format targets Adiponectin, a key adipokine involved in regulating insulin sensitivity and metabolic homeostasis, with dysregulation linked to obesity, type 2 diabetes, cardiovascular diseases and related metabolic disorders.

The kit operates over a detection range of 0.78-50 ng/mL with a reported sensitivity of 0.47 ng/mL, and the assay can be completed in 3.5h. A sample volume of 100μL is required. The kit recognises human ADP/Acrp30 with no significant cross-reactivity or interference observed between the target and analogues.

Validation data report intra-assay CVs of 12.77%, 11.52% and 11.04% and inter-assay CVs of 8.4%, 11.7% and 7.81% across three sample concentrations, with overall reproducibility stated as both intra-CV and inter-CV < 15%. Spike-and-recovery values range from 94-109% in serum (average 100%), 100-112% in EDTA plasma (average 106%) and 96-111% in cell culture media (average 104%), supporting applications in cell biology research into metabolic disease biomarkers and therapeutic strategies.
