Human Adipocyte plasma membrane-associated protein (APMAP) ELISA Kit

A sandwich ELISA kit from Assay Genie for the accurate detection of Adipocyte plasma membrane-associated protein (APMAP) in human samples. The assay recognizes both natural and recombinant human APMAP and is validated for use with serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernates, and other biological fluids. APMAP is a single-pass type II membrane protein implicated in adipocyte differentiation and arylesterase activity, and is studied in the context of lipid metabolism, adipogenesis, obesity, and insulin resistance.

Performance characteristics include a detection range of 0.156–10 ng/mL and a sensitivity of 0.098 ng/mL. Intra-assay precision is 6.2% (CV) and inter-assay precision is 10.1% (CV). Linearity has been demonstrated in serum, EDTA plasma, and heparin plasma across serial dilutions, with recovery ranging from 105–117% in serum and 107–119% in plasma. For research use only.
