Human Adenylate cyclase type 10 (ADCY10) ELISA Kit

Assay Genie provides a sandwich-format ELISA kit for the quantitative measurement of human Adenylate cyclase type 10 (ADCY10), an enzyme responsible for producing the signalling molecule cyclic adenosine monophosphate (cAMP). Designed for research use, the assay enables precise detection of ADCY10 in a range of human sample types.

Detection is colorimetric, performed on a microplate using a sandwich configuration. The kit is validated for serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernates, and other biological fluids. According to the manufacturer's specification sheet, sensitivity is 32 pg/mL with an assay range of 78–5000 pg/mL. Reported intra-assay CV is 3.9% and inter-assay CV is 6.4%. Linearity has been demonstrated for serum, EDTA plasma, and heparin plasma at dilutions of 1:2, 1:4, 1:8, and 1:16, with serum recovery averaging 96% (range 90–102%) and plasma recovery averaging 98% (range 92–104%).

ADCY10 is relevant to research in metabolic, neurological, and cardiovascular disease, and its dysregulation is implicated in disorders such as absorptive hypercalciuria. The kit detects natural and recombinant human ADCY10 (UniProt Q96PN6) and also recognises aliases including AH-related protein, Adenylate cyclase homolog, Germ cell soluble adenylyl cyclase, Testicular soluble adenylyl cyclase, hsAC, sAC, and SAC.
