CECR1, also known as Cat eye syndrome critical region protein 1, ADGF, or IDGFL, is an adenosine deaminase that may contribute to the degradation of extracellular adenosine, a signaling molecule that controls a variety of cellular responses. Dysregulation of CECR1 has been linked to autoimmune disorders, inflammation, and other diseases, making it a valuable biomarker for research and diagnostic purposes. The target protein is a secreted homodimer (UniProt: Q9NZK5) that binds heparin and interacts with adenosine receptors.

Performance specifications include a detection range of 0.156–10 ng/mL and a sensitivity of 0.093 ng/mL. Intra-assay CV is 4.7% and inter-assay CV is 8.6%. Linearity has been validated in serum, EDTA plasma, and heparin plasma, with recovery averaging 104% in serum and 106% in plasma. The kit detects both natural and recombinant human Adenosine deaminase 2.
