Human Adenosine deaminase (ADA) ELISA Kit

It uses a colorimetric detection method and is validated for use with serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids. The assay is specific for natural and recombinant human Adenosine deaminase and is intended for research use only.

The kit delivers a detection range of 3.12-200 U/L with a sensitivity of 0.82 U/L. Precision is reported as an intra-assay CV of 6.8% and an inter-assay CV of 11.0%. Linearity has been validated across dilutions from 1:2 to 1:16 in serum, EDTA plasma and heparin plasma, with recovery data also documented for serum and plasma sample types.

Adenosine deaminase is an enzyme that catalyses the hydrolytic deamination of adenosine and 2-deoxyadenosine, playing an important role in purine metabolism and adenosine homeostasis.
