Human Adenomatous polyposis coli protein (APC) ELISA Kit

Assay Genie offers a Sandwich ELISA Kit developed for the quantitative detection of human Adenomatous polyposis coli protein (APC), a tumor suppressor involved in Wnt signaling and the regulation of CTNNB1, with mutations associated with familial adenomatous polyposis and colorectal cancer. The kit is supplied for research use only and is positioned for cancer research applications.

Validated for use with human serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernatants and other biological fluids, the assay uses a colorimetric detection method. Reported performance includes a detection range of 0.156–10 ng/mL and a sensitivity of 0.1 ng/mL, with an intra-assay CV of 6.3% and an inter-assay CV of 10.9%. Linearity has been characterised across serial dilutions in serum, EDTA plasma and heparin plasma, and recovery has been measured in serum (average 101%, range 95–107%) and plasma (average 103%, range 97–109%).

The assay targets natural and recombinant human APC, referenced under UniProt accession P25054, with listed synonyms including Deleted in polyposis 2.5, Protein APC and DP2.5. Optical density is read at 450 nm using a microplate reader.
