Human ADCY2/Adenylate Cyclase 2 ELISA Kit

A colorimetric sandwich ELISA from Assay Genie for the quantitative detection of human ADCY2 (Adenylate Cyclase 2) in serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples. ADCY2 is an enzyme involved in cellular signalling, particularly in the production of cAMP, and its dysregulation has been implicated in metabolic disorders, neurological conditions, and cancer.

The double-antibody sandwich assay has a sensitivity of 0.188 ng/mL and a working range of 0.313–20 ng/mL. The kit is stored at 2–8°C for 12 months. In spiked samples, recovery averages 94% in serum, 95% in EDTA plasma, and 93% in heparin plasma, while linearity across serial dilutions falls between 80% and 104% depending on the matrix.

The workflow begins by equilibrating reagents and TMB substrate to room temperature, then loading standards and samples onto the pre-coated plate for incubation at 37°C. After primary incubation, a biotin-labelled detection antibody is added, followed by HRP-Streptavidin, TMB substrate development in the dark, and absorbance reading at 450 nm after stop solution is added. The kit includes a dismountable ELISA microplate, lyophilised standard, biotin-labelled antibody, HRP-Streptavidin conjugate, TMB substrate, sample and antibody dilution buffers, SABC dilution buffer, stop solution, wash buffer, plate sealer, and a technical manual.
