Human ADAMTS5 ELISA Kit

A high-quality monoclonal antibody developed by Assay Genie for the detection and analysis of ADAMTS5, validated for use in Western blotting and ELISA applications with reactivity against Human and Mouse samples. The unconjugated antibody (clone ARC59326) is raised in Rabbit as IgG and purified by affinity purification. The recommended dilution for WB is 1:1000 - 1:4000, with a suggested ELISA starting concentration of 1 μg/mL.

ADAMTS5 is a member of the ADAMTS (a disintegrin and metalloproteinase with thrombospondin motifs) protein family and functions as an aggrecanase that cleaves aggrecan, a major proteoglycan of cartilage. Positive samples include HeLa and Mouse ovary, with cellular localization to the secreted, extracellular matrix and extracellular space compartments. The calculated molecular weight is 102kDa and the observed MW is 73kDa. Synonyms include ADMP-2, ADAM-TS5, ADAMTS-5, ADAMTS11, ADAM-TS 5, ADAM-TS 11, and ADAMTS5. Gene ID: 11096.
