From Assay Genie, this Sandwich ELISA kit is designed for the quantitative measurement of human ADAMTS12 (A Disintegrin and Metalloase with Thrombospondin 12) in biological samples. The assay uses a double-antibody sandwich format with colorimetric detection, and is reactive with human specimens including serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples.

Performance characteristics include a sensitivity of 46.875 pg/mL and a measuring range of 78.125–5000 pg/mL. Linearity has been validated in serum (85–95% / 86–105% / 98–103% at 1:2, 1:4, 1:8), EDTA plasma (83–100% / 93–101% / 82–100%), and heparin plasma (85–99% / 83–100% / 82–99%). The assay procedure involves reagent equilibration to room temperature, a primary incubation at 37°C for 90 minutes, biotinylated detection antibody binding for 60 minutes, HRP-Streptavidin (SABC) binding for 30 minutes, TMB color development in the dark for 10–20 minutes, and absorbance reading at 450 nm after addition of stop solution.
