Human ACTN2 (Actinin Alpha 2) CLIA Kit (HUES00191)

This chemiluminescence immunoassay kit from Assay Genie is intended for the in vitro quantitative determination of Human ACTN2 (Actinin Alpha 2) in tissue homogenates. Operating on a Sandwich-CLIA principle, the microplate is pre-coated with an antibody specific to Human ACTN2. Samples are combined with the capture antibody, then incubated with a biotinylated detection antibody and an Avidin-HRP conjugate before chemiluminescent substrate is added. The resulting Relative Light Unit (RLU) value, measured on a chemiluminescence immunoassay analyzer, is positively correlated with Human ACTN2 concentration.

The kit reports a sensitivity of 46.88 pg/mL and a detection range of 78.13–5000 pg/mL, with a total assay time of 4.5 hours. The recommended sample input is 100 µL of tissue homogenates. Reactivity is specific to human samples, and no significant cross-reactivity or interference between Human ACTN2 and analogues was observed; both intra-assay CV and inter-assay CV are stated to be < 15%. Designed for cell biology research, the kit targets ACTN2 (synonym CMD1AA), a cytoskeletal protein whose dysregulation has been associated with muscular disorders and cardiovascular disease.
