Human Activin C/INHBC PharmaGenie ELISA Kit (SBRS0221)

Activin C, encoded by the INHBC gene, is a secreted signaling protein of the transforming growth factor-beta (TGF-beta) superfamily that participates in follicle-stimulating hormone regulation, gonadal function, inflammatory signaling, and tissue remodeling. Quantitative measurement of Activin C in human samples supports research into reproductive endocrinology, gonadal cancer biology, hepatic fibrogenesis, and inflammatory disease pathways where altered activin and inhibin balance has been documented.

This Assay Genie kit is configured for the in vitro quantitative detection of human Activin C using an immunoassay format with an absorbance-based readout on a microplate. The assay accepts samples from cell culture work and from human biofluids including plasma-derived and serum-derived fractions, enabling profiling of Activin C secretion from cultured cells and monitoring of circulating levels in clinical research cohorts. Researchers use the kit to validate gene-expression findings at the protein level in studies of inhibin and activin axis dysregulation and to compare Activin C across disease and control groups.

The kit is supplied as a complete set of reagents and pre-coated plate wells sufficient for 96 individual determinations. Reconstitute reagents as directed in the supplied manual, allow all components to equilibrate to room temperature before use, and read the plate at the wavelength specified in the protocol. Unused wells should be resealed with the desiccant strip and the kit stored refrigerated between uses to preserve reagent stability for downstream runs.
