Human ACP5 (Tartrate Resistant Acid Phosphatase 5) CLIA Kit (HUES00879)

From Assay Genie, this chemiluminescence immunoassay (CLIA) kit is intended for the in vitro quantitative determination of Human ACP5 (Tartrate-Resistant Acid Phosphatase 5; synonym TRAP) in serum, plasma and other biological fluids. The assay uses a Sandwich-CLIA principle on a plate pre-coated with an antibody specific to Human ACP5; standards or samples are added, followed sequentially by a biotinylated detection antibody and an Avidin-HRP conjugate. After washing and substrate addition, the relative light unit (RLU) is read on a chemiluminescence analyzer, with RLU proportional to the concentration of Human ACP5.

Performance characteristics stated by the manufacturer include a sensitivity of 0.09 ng/mL, a detection range of 0.16-10 ng/mL, a 100 μL sample volume, and a 4.5 h assay time. Both intra-assay and inter-assay CV are reported as less than 15%. Spiked recovery has been validated in serum (range 90-106%, average 98%), EDTA plasma (range 90-105%, average 96%), and cell culture media (range 89-102%, average 97%), with linearity demonstrated across serial dilutions from 1:2 to 1:16 in the same matrices.
